DIRECTIONS TO LAKE WHITEHURST

EVSRA regattas at Lake Whitehurst are conducted from a dedicated rowing site in the Norfolk Botanical Garden, 6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, Virginia 23518. The Garden is located along the western edge of Norfolk International Airport.

From the West and North via I-64

After crossing the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, travel approximately seven miles eastbound on I-64. Exit onto Norview Avenue at Exit 279, following signs to the airport. Stay on Norview Avenue for one mile. Turn left onto Azalea Garden Road. The Botanical Garden entrance is .60 of a mile on the right. Please follow parking directions after entering the Garden.

From Eastbound I-64

Four and one half miles after I-64 intersects with I-264, exit onto Norview Avenue at Exit 279, following signs to the airport. Stay on Norview Avenue for one mile. Turn left onto Azalea Garden Road. From the Eastern Shore via Route 13/Northampton Boulevard.

On the south side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Route 13 becomes Northampton Boulevard. Continue on Northhamton approximately one mile after crossing the bridge. Exit right onto westbound Route 60 (Shore Drive). Go approximately four miles to East Little Creek Road. Turn left and stay on East Little Creek approximately 1.5 miles to Azalea Garden Road. Left onto Azalea Garden Road. The Entrance to Norfolk Botanical Garden is one half mile on the left. Please follow parking directions after entering the Garden.
