A TYPICAL DAY AT THE RACES

Every week is different so you will never be bored at an EVSRA regatta. Nevertheless, a few things are constant such as when show up, when we start racing, and when we try to finish. Here’s a quick look at a typical regatta day..
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS
6:00 AM |
Gates open. Reduced rate parking until 9 AM. |
7:45 AM |
Coxswains’ Meeting. National Anthem. |
8:30 AM |
First launch. |
9:00 AM |
Racing commences. A new race starts about every ten minutes. |
9:00 AM |
Reduced rate parking ends. Normal Botanical Garden admission fees begin. |
9:20 AM |
First race results and times are posted. Updated throughout the regatta. |
12:30 PM |
Racing typically ends. |
12:45 PM |
Awards ceremony. |
