A TYPICAL DAY AT THE RACES

Every week is different so you will never be bored at an EVSRA regatta. Nevertheless, a few things are constant such as when show up, when we start racing, and when we try to finish. Here’s a quick look at a typical regatta day..

REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS

6:00 AM	Gates open. Reduced rate parking until 9 AM.
7:45 AM	Coxswains’ Meeting. National Anthem.
8:30 AM	First launch.
9:00 AM	Racing commences. A new race starts about every ten minutes.
9:00 AM	Reduced rate parking ends. Normal Botanical Garden admission fees begin.
9:20 AM	First race results and times are posted. Updated throughout the regatta.
12:30 PM	Racing typically ends.
12:45 PM	Awards ceremony.
